Specification:

4+ years’ commercial experience developing with:

Angular 8+

Using Storybook & Akita frameworks, Angular (Google) material, Socket.io

Full MEAN is an advatange, but not a hard requirement.

Nice to have:

Postman or equivalent
Prior experience in controls & automation industry helpful
Agile methodologies.

Contract: Technical Software Development Team Lead

Excellent renewable 6 months contract with one of our clients in the controls and automation space.

Location: Remote or Calgary, AB

Rate: Competitive

Specification:

2+ years’ commercial experience as technical team lead or equivalent in full-stack microservices-first projects. Experience leading 4-6 designers, developers.

Experience participating in the guidance of architecture.

Strong design experience in microservices and API-led architectures.

Full MEAN Stack for the control of physical devices (MongoDB, Express.js, AngularJS (or Angular), and Node.js)

Engineering/technical experience or background with an understanding of digital measurement.

Someone with an understanding of how software can interact with physical devices. Data acquisition required.

Ability to work closely with team members operating in the MST time zone.

Expectation:

50% technical leadership, 50% development. Leading the software development team. Working closely with controls engineering team and product management team to deliver technical solutions that meet the customer needs and standards.
